Therapy-resistant carcinoma cells often display heightened vulnerability to inducers of ferroptosis – an iron-dependent form of cell death driven by oxidative modifications of membrane phospholipids. My project focuses on investigating the effects of ferroptosis inducers in combination with various forms of immunotherapy to yield long-lasting, anti-tumor responses.
